How it works

🚴 Vuelta a España 2026

Predict Vuelta a España 2026, for free. At every stage, you try to guess what will happen. The bolder and more accurate you are, the more you score. At the end, the best forecaster walks away with a ScoreMigos red jersey.

How to play

  1. Join the contest. It's free, no money, ever.
  2. Before each stage starts, make your predictions. They lock at the gun.
  3. Results come in, you score points, you climb the leaderboard.

Every stage's bets

Stage winner+12 to +17
Stage podium (top 3)
+6 per rider in the exact spot
+3 if on the podium in the wrong spot
+12 bonus for the exact top 3 in order (rule added at stage 10, applies from that stage only)
up to +24
Winner's nationality
depending on rarity (see below)
+4 to +25
Finish type
bunch sprint, breakaway, solo or small group
+5 to +7
The breakaway makes it to the line
yes or no
+5 to +7
Red jersey changes hands
yes or no
+5 to +7
Best French or Belgian rider of the stage+8 to +11

They close at the stage start. Some only show up on the relevant stages (the breakaway and the finish type on road stages, for instance). When a rule is added or adjusted mid-race, it only applies to the following stages: never retroactively to stages already run.

🎲 The twist: the winner's nationality

Dare a surprise, cash the jackpot. A stage winner earns more points the rarer their nationality is.

Favourites (Slovenia, Belgium, Denmark, Netherlands)+4 to +6
Solid (France, Italy, Spain, Great Britain, Germany)+8 to +11
Outsiders (any other nation)+18 to +25

They close at the start of stage 1.

💛 The final red jersey, in detail

The rule as written at launch, on 04/07/2026:

Final Red jersey: paid 3 times (leader after stage 9 +10, after 15 +15, at the finish +25).

This rule has not changed one bit: it was simply summed up in a single line. Here it is explained in detail, and it is exactly what the engine has applied from the start.

  • In the lead after stage 9: +5 pts.
  • In the lead after stage 15: +8 pts.
  • In the lead after stage 21: +12 pts.

Milestone points add up: the same rider can score for you at every milestone, up to +25 in total.

Only the milestones already passed are settled. The jersey holder can change before the next milestone: nobody is out as long as a milestone remains.

(rule from 04/07/2026, unchanged; explained in detail on 17/07/2026)

💛 The prizes: two flocked ScoreMigos jerseys

  • The best forecaster's red jersey (1st on the leaderboard).
  • The top recruiter's red jersey: your BEST recruit's points count. The more specialists you recruit, the better your odds of holding the champion (the prize still requires at least 5 valid recruits).
  • New: from 8 valid recruits on, your jersey is GUARANTEED, even if you are not the top recruiter.

🏆 Prize conditions

  • The prizes (the two flocked ScoreMigos jerseys) will only be awarded if at least 200 participants actually play the contest.
  • "Actually playing" means being a real player (real account) who has entered predictions on a good share of the Tour's stages.
  • The top recruiter's prize will only be awarded if the contest reaches 200 real players and if the top recruiter has invited at least 5 valid people, who each played at least 70% of the stages.

The golden rule

Your predictions lock when the stage starts: no changing them after the fact. And it's a game of skill, 100% free. We never play for money. Fair-play exception: if you join after the Grand Depart, you can still place your jersey picks for 5 days, with points reduced per day late (x0.80 on day 1, down to x0.20 on day 5).

Results: the official classification published on the evening of the stage is final. A cancelled or neutralised stage without a result has its predictions voided, no points for anyone. A later jury relegation may be applied case by case and is then announced.

💨 Does the breakaway make it? Yes if the winner comes from the day's breakaway (the group that went before the finale and was never caught). A favourite attacking in the finale counts as No.

🏁 Finish type: bunch sprint (12 or more riders on the winner's time), breakaway win (winner from a long-range move with a gap), solo (winner alone by 8 seconds or more), small group.
