Everything that recently changed on the site.

15/07/2026 The "picks to make" clock (all sports)
The little clock at the top right ONLY appears when you still have a pick to make whose deadline is near (less than 6h before it locks): the rest of the time it stays hidden. So if you don't see it, it simply means you have nothing urgent to play, you're all set. The number on it shows in how many competitions you still have something urgent (football, cycling…). Tap it: it takes you straight to the most pressing one; once that's done it moves to the next, then disappears when you're up to date everywhere.
08/07/2026 Track your position moves (and compare yourself)
New on every leaderboard: move buttons next to the ranks, like +4 (J) or -2 (M). (M) shows your move since the latest scored match ((E) for a Tour stage), (J) your move over the last full matchday. Only one shows at a time, depending on the moment: no stale info while a matchday is in progress.

Click it (or any rank) to open the position journey page: the full curve of positions since the start, most recent at the top, by match or by matchday, with the records (best spot, biggest climb, biggest drop). You can even compare up to 3 players of the contest on the same curve. And it works for anyone: click a rival's rank and enjoy (or not) their journey.

As a bonus, the All contests page got a makeover: football and cycling together, clickable filters and clear badges (Official, Public, Private). Happy climbing! 🚀
08/07/2026 Better leaderboards + cycling goes auto-save
A big day of improvements, on both football AND cycling.

On every leaderboard: a refresh button at the top right (no need to reload the page), a rank delta next to your position (+2 in green, -1 in red), "Your position" right on your contest cards, and a player search.

On cycling, it catches up with football: no more pressing Save, your picks (stages and jerseys) save on their own as soon as you choose, with a little green "Saved". And you now get stage recaps written automatically (with the badge blinking when something is new) and the "You're mentioned in it" when you shine.

A small apology along the way: right after Switzerland-Croatia, opening the leaderboards crashed for a few minutes. That was us: we pushed all these new features to production at exactly the wrong moment 😅. It's fixed, and we promise to check the clock next time.
06/07/2026 Transparency: tournament predictions restored
A technical flaw on late-registration contests allowed a few tournament predictions to be changed after the deadline. This is not cheating: it is a bug on our side, now fixed, with consequences traced and repaired. We have set everything back in order, and the explanation is full and transparent (the players involved are anonymised there). Have a read:

04/07/2026 Direct access to "My picks" from the menu
New: find your predictions in one click. The My picks link at the top (and in the mobile menu) takes you straight to your main contest, right on the current picks (match or stage). No more searching, it's one click away.
27/06/2026 New interface + special knockout-stage contest
We rebuilt the whole contest interface for the special knockout-stage contest: 2 x 1 jersey of your favourite team to win!
🏆 Open the contest
You can confirm your participation until 10 July at midnight (5 July deadline extended, no advantage: tournament picks are locked before the knockout stage). BUT you must fill in your tournament predictions for THIS contest before the first match kicks off (Sunday 28 June at 9pm). If you don't, we automatically reuse your usual tournament predictions.
Your match predictions stay the same as for your other contests: nothing to redo, it's the same page. Only the ranking changes, it counts matches only from the first knockout match.
26/06/2026 New: the Knockout pool is open
A brand-new contest just opened, and you are already in it: we added everyone from your groups. 🏆 Open the contest

How it works. The leaderboard resets to zero for everyone, only knockout matches count. Nothing to redo, your predictions carry over automatically. You can adjust your tournament predictions specially for the knockout stage, in this contest. Don't want to play? You can leave in one click, with the little cross next to your name in the Members tab.

Two gifts to win. No money: these are gifts for your participation on ScoreMigos, each with a value. The gifts will be decided very soon.

Gift 1, the best recruiter. Invite as many NEW people as you can to come and play in this contest. To qualify, you must bring at least 5 who really play: they must play the final and at least 10 knockout matches (people who drop out don't count). Whoever brings the most, with that minimum of 5, wins.

Gift 2, the contest winner. It goes to the 1st in the leaderboard. Note: the administrator plays for fun but cannot win this gift; if they finish 1st, the 2nd place receives it.

In the meantime, feel free to invite people right away!
25/06/2026 Proof by email of predictions at the start of matches
For stake groups, we are strengthening transparency. From a match's kickoff, once predictions are frozen, you can see and check everyone's predictions in several ways.

1. The grid. You see every prediction at a glance. New: tap a player's card to see how many points their prediction would earn if the score stayed the same until the end of the match, plus the detailed breakdown and a few stats (how many people played the same score, etc.).

2. Others' predictions. The fastest way to see everything on a single screen.

3. The leaderboard. Recently, when you expand a player during a live match you instantly see their prediction and the live score of the match.

You can also download the grid as a PDF at the start of each match.

4. Proof by email (new). In a stake group, tick the box next to your name in the Members tab: at every kickoff you receive an email with everyone's frozen predictions. That timestamped email in your inbox is proof, nobody (not even an administrator) can change those predictions afterwards. Only 20 people per group can be verifiers and receive this email, otherwise the server would send far too many emails. For now there are few stake groups, so up to 20 spots per group. First come, first served.

Once the predictions are sent and timestamped, no manipulation or hacking by anyone is possible after the match results. It was actually the site's designer, who plays in a stake group himself, who wanted this feature: as he climbed the rankings, he insisted on guaranteeing perfect integrity for everyone.
11/06/2026 Two bonuses raised (just before kickoff)
Just before the very first match, we slightly raised two bonuses because they were a bit too low: the correct half-time winner goes from +1 to +2, and the correct qualified team (knockout stage) from +2 to +3. It was the very last moment to do it, right before the start. Rest assured: from now on the scoring is locked and won't change for the whole competition. You can see the full scoring via the Points button, next to your predictions.
11/06/2026 Your points, in detail
On every finished match you see your points, the real result and the half-time. Tap the points to open the full breakdown (exact score, right result, half-time, side bets, multiplier, joker). A ★ Perfect badge shows up when you nailed everything.
11/06/2026 King of Perfect 👑
A perfect means getting EVERYTHING right on a single match: the exact score, the half-time, and, in the knockout stage, the team's qualification. The player with the most earns the King of Perfect title (+10 points) and the runner-up becomes the Dauphin (+5 points); these bonuses are credited at the end of the tournament. Follow the live perfect count in the leaderboard.
11/06/2026 Detailed leaderboard
Tap a player in the leaderboard to expand where their points come from, match by match (with their picks and bonuses). More transparency on who leads and why.
11/06/2026 Invite in one tap
Share your invite links straight to WhatsApp, Facebook, or copy them, both from the contest card and the Invite tab. Each link (player or inviter) now offers all the sharing options.
09/06/2026 A clearer, more intuitive app
We reworked the layout to make it clearer and more intuitive. The app is in its finishing stages, so it shouldn't change much after this first week. In My contests, click anywhere on a card to open your contest, and you land straight on the matches. Inside a contest there are more explanations, and for admins all the settings are now centralised in the top card (stakes, language, deadlines, rename...).
09/06/2026 Your scores save themselves
No more Edit or Save button: as soon as you change a score it is saved automatically, with a little confirmation. You can adjust your predictions as much as you want until each match kicks off.
09/06/2026 A recap after every matchday
After each matchday, a recap is automatically written in your group: it tells the story of the day with humour and puts the best in the spotlight, and it is different every time. Find it at the top of the leaderboard and in the Communication tab.
09/06/2026 Delete a group
Admins can now delete their group, as long as it has fewer than 4 members and no match has started (or if they are the only member).
09/06/2026 Stay logged in
No need to retype your password on every visit: you stay logged in throughout the tournament, especially handy on mobile.
09/06/2026 Search your group by name
In "All contests", a search bar lets you find a group by its name, and the list shows as readable cards on mobile.
08/06/2026 Set your favourite contest
Open a contest and tap the "Set as favourite" star at the top. The ⭐ star in the top bar then takes you straight there in one tap, from anywhere.
08/06/2026 Light and dark mode
The site switches to light from 8am to 10pm and to dark at night automatically. You can force your choice with the sun / moon button at the top.
08/06/2026 Even better on mobile
Menu, tables and prediction cards were redesigned for the phone: everything is clearer and quicker to use.
08/06/2026 Late-entry contests
You can create a contest even after the World Cup kicks off, up to the end of the group stage. As long as a shared deadline is set for everyone, anyone can join along the way.
